Celebrating 29 years 1979-2008 We are located in Northeast Iowa, owned and operated by Rudy Sprenger.
Rudy earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Wisconsin and pursued a career in the Dairy Manufacturing business with emphasis on engineering.
In 1976, Rudy relocated to Iowa and in 1979 to Fredericksburg. That was the ideal foundation for pursuing his lifelong passion by building his state-of-the-art Burg's Kennels. From that same location and since 1979, Burg's Kennels has been offering agreatdog, Chow, Shih Tzu and Sheltie puppies at an affordable and reasonable price.
