Adoption Policy for agreatdog CHOW CHOW PUPPY, SHIH TZU PUPPY,OR SHELTIE PUPPY
The best time to pick out a puppy is at 4 weeks since that is the time the puppy will start to distinguish itself and show its character, however, the puppy will not be ready for a new home before it is 8 weeks old.
You can select a puppy two ways:
1. By viewing posted pictures of available puppies on the Web page, or;
2. Through advance reservation. Advance reservation allows you to select a puppy based on your preference for sex and color before the puppies are advertised or posted in the Web page. Choosing a puppy is done on a first come, first served basis, with the person who makes the first reservation through their 10% deposit, getting the first choice. The person who makes the second deposit, gets second choice and so on.
3. The 10% deposit will lock in the price for your puppy at time of deposit.
4. Deposits are good for one year only. You may extend your deposit for another year by adding $10 to the original deposit, and the prices quoted at the time of the extension will be price locked in.

While our puppies can be used for show or breeding, no guarantee is made that they would be suitable for that purpose. Breeding voids the health guarantee.
Each week, picture updates will show you how your puppy is maturing. If you’re not 100% satisfied, you may opt to wait for a different puppy from another litter, or request a refund. No refunds issued for cancellations made after puppy is seven weeks old.
Each puppy has it's birthdate shown on the picture. Before the puppy is 6 weeks old, you will need to make a second “good faith” deposit of $50 to confirm your commitment to adopting the puppy. If you do not make this second deposit before the puppy is 7 weeks old, you will lose both your reservation on a puppy and your original 10% deposit.
If circumstances don’t allow you to receive your puppy at the due time, we will happily keep the puppy and care for it until you are ready for him/her. There will be a $20 a month fee for the care and extra vaccinations that may be needed.
For special circumstances, we can keep a puppy for an extended time period beyond 8 weeks. The puppy must be paid for in full, and any cancellations will be dealt with in accordance to the return policy.
However, if you are dissatisfied with your puppy when you finally meet it, you can return the puppy and get a full refund of both deposits as well as the purchase price. Shipping charges are non refundable.
All of our puppies have a microchip ID for identification and to determine origin. We will always take back any of our puppies if ever unwanted or abandoned, no questions asked.
