In my 30 years of dog breeding, I was always concerned about the welfare of my dogs. In particular, I worried what could happen to my dogs and kennel investment in case of a disaster, such as the occurance of a fire, power outage or heating/ventilation system failure when I was away.
I knew that security alarms existed and having had been exposed to many alarm systems while working as an engineer in various industries, an affordable effective system for my kennel was always my dream. High costs of operation typically put fire/security alarm systems out of reach for smaller kennel operations.
Recently, while searching the internet, I came across a simple affordable electronic security alarm system. I have studied these systems and have come up with an affordable "Must Have" configuration that offers top protection and Peace of Mind

The system I ultimately was sold on was a wireless alarm dialer by Skylink. Through use of various wireless sensors, many options for protection are possible. This is a total wireless "Do it Yourself" system that can give you the Peace of Mind at a price you can afford, and can always add to and improve as finances permit.

Using the Skylink products, I was able to design a first class fire and alarm system that fit my kennel. By doing careful evaluations and customizing the sensors all my concerns and needs were met. Installation was simple, as wireless technology is used.
My main goal was to build a system assuring the safety of the animals first, building second. Any Fire and Building Occupancy Codes were not considered as my operation is not required to have an Alarm Monitoring Sysytem. However, the Sklink System could easily meet any regulatory standards and codes.
