The Shetland Sheepdog, or Sheltie, is a strong, yet nimble, beautiful dog with a slender build, They are an outstanding companion dog with a lovely temperament and are gentle, sensitive, loyal and dainty. They are high energy, highly intelligent and extremely trainable. The Sheltie is one of the smartest breeds, and they are extremely willing to please their master. They are very loyal and affectionate with their family, but generally are suspicious of strangers. They are wonderful with families and get along well with other pets, love children and is Agreatdog.
The following Iowa Sheltie Pups are currently available for adoption. They are ready for new homes after 8 weeks from the birthdate shown in picture caption.
Shelties are available in many unique colors. They are one of the few breeds that have a merle color gene, that allows breeding for many special and rare colors.

To ensure that all our animals all receive extraordinary care, we are Licensed and Inspected by the Iowa Dept of Agriculture, the American Kennel Club and Fredericksburg Vet Service (Supervising Vet).
All of our puppies have a microchip ID for identification and to determine origin. We will always take back any of our puppies if ever unwanted or abandoned, no questions asked.
**NO CAGE facility (animals not housed in cages). Cages are used for training and transportation only. **NO KILL facility (unwanted Dogs are either cared for and raised or adopted out as Special Needs Dogs)
